I have personally used polycut 40-3 heads on early Stihl model's like fs65, fs66, fs80, fs81, and fs86. It is still sealed in its original packaging. This is a Stihl polycut 40-3 mowing head.

The packaging indicates that polycut is for use with Stihl brush cutter model's fs350, fs450, and fs550. This new old stock polycut head is from a former Stihl dealers inventory.

Please look at the photos and use Stihl part number to determine that this is correct for your machine. This earlier polycut, with a body diameter of approximately inches, can also be used many Stihl units 20mm 1 inch arbor by removing the metal cir clip indicated in last photo green circle. This is a genuine Stihl accessory with part number of. My son and I are currently using a 40-3 on Stihl fs85.
